Ep 23: Fats & Fibre

In today's episode, we continue our explanation of the macronutrients fats & also discuss fibre to help you have a basic understanding of the importance these have for our health and wellness.

With a deeper understanding you hold the key to making key choices within your way of eating that will help to include more 'good' fats and reduce 'bad' fats. 

We discuss the four main types of fat which are saturated, polyunsaturated, monounsaturated, and trans fats.  what foods are high in Omega 3 and 6, why we need to include a variety in our diets, and encourage you to look into what types are fat eating. 

We also talk about the importance of fibre, what soluble and insoluble fibre is and what foods you can easily add to your meals to help improve health symptoms such as constipation or regulating and maintaining a healthy weight.

Knowledge is power and we want you to come away with one or two things you can take action on.
